Woven Bridles: Relations

The Woven Bridles are an aggressively expansionist tribe of Fyros who settled in the desert of Hidden Source, within the border of the Matis kingdom. Unlike the more peaceful Fyros of the Oasis Diggers who live in the same region, the Woven Bridles seek to conquer the Hidden Source for the Fyros, and they are at constant war with both the Matis nation itself and it's allies in the region, the tribe of The Arid Matis. They are also hostile to most visitors, attacking anyone who enters their camp except other Fyros. Like the Fyros at home, the Woven Bridles follow the Kami.

The Matis are a sophisticated, cultured and ambitious people. They master botany and build their homes and tools from living plants. Both artists and conquerors, they believe each homin must earn its place inside society. They are the most faithful followers of the Karavan. Most of the Matis live inside the Forest, inside which they established their Kingdom, a monarchy of divine right. They value Loyalty to the King and Jena, Aesthetic fulfillment, and Competition. The citizenship rite allows one to become a Matis Vassal and benefit from various assets and rewards. Their language is Mateis.

	Arid Matis
	Leader: Chief Gicha Varinia
The Arid Matis are a tribe of Matis that chose to settle in the desert-like region of Hidden Source, at the edge of the Matis territories. They are still close allies to the Matis nation, and also follow the Karavan. Their camp is a safe shelter for all homins traveling through Hidden Source. The Arid Matis share the region with two Fyros tribes that migrated in from the neighbouring Burning Desert, the peaceful Oasis Diggers and the aggressive Woven Bridles, and they are at war with the later.
