RyGReg, Ryzom Guild Registry, holt sich die rohe Liste der Gilden aus dem Ryzom API und erweitert sie um editierbare Informationen. Im Endeffekt sollen für alle Homins es ein mehrsprachiges, einfach zu bedienendes Werkzeug sein, um Informationen über Gilden anzusehen, zu suchen und zu ändern. Jede Anführerin und jeder Anführer einer Gilde kann, ohne dass ich aktiv werden muss, den Eintrag ihrer/seiner eigenen Gilde ändern, oder hohe Offiziere damit beauftragen. Dieses beiden Merkmale halten die Liste der Gilden aktuell. Es wurden bereits 27 neue Gilden gegründet in der Zeit seit der ich daran gearbeitet habe.

Aktuell funktioniert die Authentifizierung noch nicht, so dass der Anführer manuell eingetragen werden muss. Danach kann sie/er aber ihrer/seinen eigenen Eintrag der Gilde ohne irgendeine Passworteingabe ändern. Falls ihr noch nicht gelistet seid, aber bereits ein bisschen in der Frühphase der Entwicklung ausprobieren möchtet, dann können wir uns treffen. Wenn ihr mir dort dann den Titel Gilden-Anführer zeigt, werde ich euch hinzufügen.

Alle Änderungen, die in RyGReg vorgenommen werden, erscheinen auch im Buch der Gilden, da sie auf die gleiche Datenbank im Hintergrund zugreifen. Während ich an RyGReg gearbeitet habe und auch dank dem positiven Feedback, ist in mir der Gedanke gereift mein Interesse an Gilden mit Rollenspiel zu verknüpfen: Falls jemand interessiert ist würde ich eine offene Serie von kleinen Events rund um das Buch der Gilden und die damit verbundene Forschung abhalten.

Das Buch der Gilden soll dabei den Rollenspiel-Ansicht der Datenbank der Gilden sein und alle Änderungen in letzterer auch widerspiegeln. Es ist also primär eine Ergänzung fürs Rollenspiel, beinhaltet aber auch die meisten Merkmale und Funktionen von RyGReg. Ich möchte es dabei auch so belassen, allerdings bin ich auf der Suche nach Übersetzern. Das System bietet die Möglichkeit, die Apps in beliebig viele Sprachen anzubieten, von daher ist es möglich es in deine eigene Sprache oder einer der Nationen zu übersetzen. Jede Hilfe und auch Feedback ist jederzeit willkommen!

Wie es mit RyGReg an sich weiter geht, hängt von euch ab. Es ist noch unfertig und sollte bisher eigentlich mehr dazu dienen zu zeigen, was möglich ist. Von daher würde ich gerne alle der 3 Aspekte der Anwendung mit euch diskutieren:

1) Gespeicherte Daten einer Gilde:
Aktuell gibt es eine Menge von editierbaren Feldern. Ich würde gerne wissen, was euch noch fehlt oder nützlich wäre um die Gilde zu präsentieren. URL? Aktivität? Zeitzone?

2) Ausgabe der Daten:
Weil eine Datenbank zu Grunde liegt, kann man alles mit allem kombinieren. Welche Daten interessieren euch? Welche Daten sollten unbedingt angezegit werden, nach welchen soll gesucht werden können? Welche Zusammenfassungen von Daten würdest zu verwenden?

3) Oberfläche:
Da ich kein Designer bin und auch die Möglichkeiten der Anzeige im Spiel (leider) sehr beschränkt sind, hat RyGReg nur eine minimale Oberfläche, gerade genug damit es bedienbar ist. Von daher bin ich interessiert an Vorschlägen sehr interessiert: Wie soll die UI aussehen?

Gerne könnt ihr mich anflüstern oder besser noch eine Izam Post zukommen lassen. Am liebsten wäre mir aber ein Treffen. Ich könnte jederzeit ein Event mit einem Rollenspiel-Teil und einem nachfolgenden OOC-Teil für die technischen Dinge auf die Beine stellen und abhalten. Falls Interesse besteht, würde ich versuchen etwas zu organisieren.

My main idea was to try to write an app for Ryzom and get familiar a bit with limitations and abilities of the app zone system. The lack of a real guild list was a good opportunity, so I started work on [url=http://beta.kdyne.net/rygreg/STABLE/rygreg-0.1.1/]RyGReg app[/url]. RyGReg, Ryzom Guild Registry, gets the raw guild list from the Ryzom API and extends it with some editable informations. The idea (in the end) is to give all homins an easy to use multi-lingual tool to view, search and edit guild information. Every guild leader will be able to edit the record of his/her own guild or allow some of high officers to do it, without my assistance. These two key features will allow the guild list to be kept up to date. We have had 27 new guilds formed in the short time since I started with it.

The current state is that authentication is not working, so the leader of the guild must be filled in. Then he/she can edit their own guild record without any password. If you are not listed and want to play with the data now in early stage of development, we can meet. Show me the leader title and I will add you.

It is primarily supposed to be a roleplay supplement but covers most of the RyGReg features. I will keep it this way, but I am looking for translators. The system allows to add any number of other languages, so it is possible to translate it into your language or any of nation languages. Any help is welcomed as any other feed back.

The future of RyGReg itself is up to you all. It's not finished and it is more a demonstration of possibilities. Understand, please, that I wish to discuss all 3 main application basics:

1) Data stored about a guild
Currently there's a lot of editable options. I would like to hear what do you miss, what would be useful for you, to present your guild. URL? Activity? Time zones?

2) Data output
Since it is a database, you can basically combine everything with everything. What data are you interested in? What data are important for you to see, what to search? Which data (over)view would you use?

3) Tool UI
I am no designer and note that in-game app possibilities are limited, so RyGReg has a minimal UI, just to allow it to be used. I ask you for mock-ups and suggestions: what should the tool UI look like?

ich möchte euch die Übersetzungs-App vorstellen, ein Werkzeug, das wir hauptsächlich für die Übersetzung unserer Apps in der App-Zone nutzen. Bis jetzt konnten nur die Übersetzer die Phrasen in der Datenbank sehen, da aber die Applikationen eine breite Infrastruktur im Hintergrund benötigen und alle Namen und Beschreibungen übersetzbar sind, ist es auch hilfreich für alle Homins, die vielleicht mit jemanden sich in einer anderen Sprache unterhalten (oder auch nur den Game-Client in einer anderen Spracheinstellung verwenden).

Mit der Veröffentlichung von Version 0.5 können alle Homins nun die Übersetzungen der Orte von Atys, der Stamm-Namen und der NPC-Titel sehen, sowie nach Phrasen in der Datenbank suchen. Es ist zu beachten, dass die Listen (besonders die der Orte) noch nicht vollständig sind und erweitert werden, wenn es die Apps erfordern. Für diese öffentliche Ansicht ist weder ein API-Key noch eine Authentifizierung notwendig.

I would like to introduce you the Lang app, a tool we primary use to manage translations for our applications in app zone. Until now only translators were able to see the strings in database. As those applications require a wide infrastructure in backround and as all names and descriptions are translatable, it is may also be of use for homins who need to communicate with someone speaking different language (and/or using the game client in different locales).

With the release of version 0.5 all homins are now able to see the overview of Atysian locations, tribe names and NPC titles and also able search all strings in the database. Please note that those lists (especially places) are not completed yet and will be expanded as needed by applications. Neither API key nor authentication is required for the public sections.

Je voudrais vous présenter l'application Lang, un outil que nous utilisons principalement pour gérer les traductions pour nos applications dans la zone de l'application. Jusqu'à présent, seuls les traducteurs pouvaient voir les chaînes dans la base de données. [h3]Was hat sich in der Benutzung geändert?[/h3]
Die Liste der NPC Homin wurde drastisch erweitert und umfasst nun fast alle Haupt-Charaktere auf Atys. Die Liste ist aber weiterhin noch nicht vollständig, und auch eine Ruhmes Voraussetzungen könnten noch falsch sein. Falls ihr einen fehlenden NPC Homin, der Missionen ausgibt, oder fehlerhafte Ruhmes-Voraussetzungen entdeckt habt, dann sagt es uns bitte. Wir sind allen Hinweisen dankbar.

Einige werden nun einwenden, dass die Listen je Stamm/Nation/Höherer Macht zu lang sind. Ja, dass sind sie. Dies ist nur der Anfang, eine Verbesserung ist in Planung. Der Plan schließt auch ein, die Liste noch zu erweitern und die Art von Interaktionen mit aufzunehmen, so dass man dann schlussendlich NPC gezielt suchen kann, in Abhängigkeit der Art der Interaktion, der Missionen und des Einflusses auf den Ruhm.

Die Ansichten für die Zivilisationen und Höheren Mächte sind nun ähnlich zu denen der Stämme: Es werden alle bewohnten Orte und alle dortigen NPC Homins gelistet, von denen einige die Gefolgschaft benötigen. Auch ist es nun möglich NPC Homins anhand ihres Namens zu suchen.

Eine weitere Neuerung betrifft den [url=http://beta.kdyne.net/rygreg/STABLE/fameapp/?sekce=nh]Service von New Horizons[/url]. In einer Tabelle sind die einzelnen Leistungen aufgeführt auf Basis deines aktuellen Ruhms und eine andere Tabelle zeigt, welche Werte des Ruhms zu welchen Änderungen in den Leistungen führen.

Daneben wurden einige bekannte Fehler und Probleme behoben, insbesondere ein besseres IG Aussehen sowie fehlerhafte Übersetzungen, sowie weitere Änderungen, welche die Bedienung erleichtern sollen.


[h3]Was hat sich im Hintergrund geändert?[/h3]
Es gibt eine Maske um NPC zu verwalten und den benötigten Ruhm zu setzen. Es ist noch nicht ganz ausgereift und benötigt weiteren Feinschliff (verschiedene Aktionen mit einer Person könnten verschiedenen Ruhm voraussetzen), allerdings kann es verwendet werden um eine prinzipielle Idee des benötigten Ruhms/Gefolgschaft zu vermitteln.

Es wurden einige Änderungen vorgenommen, um die verschiedenen Apps besser zu vernetzen. Die Stammeslager werden nun in der gleichen Datenbank gespeichert wie die Gildenhallen und Orte von Atys. In Analogie zu den Beziehungen zwischen Gilden, ob Freund oder Feind, ist es programmatisch auch möglich solche Beziehungen zwischen Stämmen und bald auch zwischen Stämmen und Gilden zu setzen, da sie auf die gleiche Datenbank zugreifen. [h3]What is new for users?[/h3]
The list of NPC homins was extended to cover nearly all main NPCs around Atys. Most likely this list is still not complete and it is also possible that some fame requirements are not accurate. We welcome any information about missing (mission giver) NPCs or corrections about missing or wrong fame requirements.

Some will argue that the list by each tribe/civilization/HP is too long. Yes, it is. Please understand that this is just the beginning. For future versions, we plan to extend all homins in the list with the type of interraction so it will be possible to filter and search NPC by type of interaction and missions as well as affected fames.

Civilizations and High Powers now work similar to tribes so you are able to see their locations and list of all related NPCs. Some of those require you to have sworn a specific allegiance. In order to check your allegiance the [color=#d96666][b]Fame tracker newly requires[/b][/color] that your API key also contains section [b]C01[/b]. If not, the tool will request you to enter a (new) key before you are able continue.

While there are a lot of NPC you can interact with, users are newly able to browse them in section [url=http://beta.kdyne.net/rygreg/STABLE/fameapp/?sekce=titles]Titles[/url] by selected type, title and location and see all NPC details. It is also possible to search NPCs by name.

Another new section is dedicated to [url=http://beta.kdyne.net/rygreg/STABLE/fameapp/?sekce=nh]New Horisons services[/url]. In one table you can see an overview about services based on your current fame and the other table shows the fame levels that affects New Horizons services.

This release also contains some fixes of known issues, like a better look IG or broken locales as well as few changes to improve the usability.


[h3]What is new in the background?[/h3]
We have an user interface to manage NPCs and set their required fames. This will still need more work in the future (because different actions with one person might require different fames) but for now it allows to give users some basic knowledge about fame/allegiance requirements.

Some changes have been made to integrate the tool with others. Tribe locations are sored in the same database as guild halls and Atys locations and there is another database ready to cover tribe relationships the same way as you can set relationships for your guilds. This table is shared as well and that allows you to set a specific tribe as friend or enemy of your guild. Future versions of Fame tracker will cover this once tribe relationships will be introduced.

die neue Version der Übersetzungs-App ist verfügbar. Osquallo war so freundlich die Blablatys Datenbank als Export bereit zustellen. Die Phrasen sind alle importiert worden und können auch in den verschiedenen Sprachen von Atys eingesehen werden. Noch zu lösende Probleme sind die Duplizität von Phrasen und das Fehlen von einer englischen Übersetzung. Englisch ist die Standardsprach der Übersetzungs-App, Französisch die von Blablatys. Auch sind einige bereits übersetzten Phrasen sind falsch ins Englische oder Deutsche übersetzt worden. Jeder mit Wissen um die Sprachen von Atys ist eingeladen mit zu helfen.

Das Ziel ist aber nicht Blablatys zu ersetzen, sondern lediglich einen Möglichkeit bieten, die Phrasen
in einer Datenbank verfügbar zu machen. Falls in der Zukunft deutlich mehr Phrasen übersetzt sind, könnte ich mir eine eigene kleine App zu erstellen, die einem die Sprachen von Atys in einer anderen Form näher bringt. Aber es wird nicht mehr als eine Datenbank von Wörtern. Grammarik und andere Aspekte sollen außen vor bleiben, da ich davon nicht viel verstehe ;-)

Die andere Neuerung ist eie System, das Filter- und Aussehens-Einstellungen speichert. Bisher mutet es noch etwas primitiv an, allerdings erlaubt es eine beliebige Anzahl von Einstellungen. Falls es gut ankommen, kann ich noch weitere gewünschte Einstellungen hinzufügen. Bisher erlaubt es das Ein- bzw. Ausblenden von Übersetzungen von Sprachen und das Filtern vom Status der Übersetzung oder der Such-Phrase. Die Ruhm-App nutzt das gleiche System für die Konfiguration der Tabellen. Alle Form- und Filter-Einstellungen sind auch über das Profil einstellbar.

The new version of Lang app is out. Osquallo was so kind to export the Blablatys database. I have imported all strings to Lang App and you can now browse Atys languages from a new section. The remaining problems are duplicity of strings and a lack of English translations. English is the default language for Lang App but French is the one for Blablatys. Also some already translated strings are incorrectly translated into German and English. Anyone with knowledge of Atysian languages is welcome to help.

Anyhow, the main goal is not to replace Blablatys, but to provide access to q database of terms, for now. If there is in the future a significant number of completed strings, I plan to create a small application that will bring you Atysian languages in a different form. But it will not be more than a database of words. Grammar and other aspects of Atysian languages is not what I understand quite well ;-)

The other new feature is a system to store user filter and form settings. It is pretty primitive at the moment but allows me to define any number of "settings registers". When there are further use cases I might allow users to affect output with additional options. The present settings allow you to display/hide translations to other languages and filter results by state or search a string. Fame tracker app uses same system to set fame tables form. All forms and filters are accessible from your profile as well.

La nouvelle version de Lang app est sortie. Osquallo a gentiment exporté la base de données de Blablatys. J'ai importé toutes les chaines dans Lang app et vous pouvez Maintenant explorer les langues d'Atys dans cette section. Les problèmes restants sont les doublons et l'absence de traduction en Anglais. L'Anglais est la langue par défaut pour Lang app alors que c'est le Français pour Blablatys. De plus, certaines chaines déjà traduites sont traduites de façon erronée en Allemand et en Anglais. Les personnes ayant une connaissance des langues Atysiennes sont les bienvenues pour aider.

De toute Façon, le principal but n'est pas de remplacer Blablatys, mais pour l'instant de fournir l'accès à une base de termes. Si dans le futur un nombre significatif de traductions de chaines est disponible, je prévois de créer une petite application qui vous présentera les langues Atysiennes sous une autre forme. Mais cela ne sera rien de plus qu'une base de mots. La grammaire et les autres aspects des langues Atysiennes ne sont pas des domaines que je maitrise assez bien :-)

L'autre nouvelle fonctionnalité, c'est un système pour stocker les filtrages et les formatages utilisateur. C'est plutôt primitif pour le moment mais cela me permet de définir n'importe quel nombre de "registre de paramètres". Quand il y aura de nouveaux cas d'utilisation, je pourrais permettre aux utilisateurs de modifier l'affichage avec de nouvelles options. Les paramètres actuels vous permettent d'afficher/cacher les traductions dans d'autres langues et de filtrer les résultats en fonction d'un état ou d'une recherche de chaine. Fame tracker utilise le même système pour fixer le format des tables des renommées. Tous les formats et les filtres sont aussi accessibles par votre profil.

die neue Version der Ruhm-Übersicht ist veröffentlicht. Es ist ein Hilfsmittel, dass deinen aktuellen (und genauen) Ruhm mit Stämmen, Zivilisationen und Höheren Mächten angibt.


[h3]Was ist neu[/h3]
Neben Änderungen und Arbeiten im Hintergrund, Fehlerbehebungen, ist die größte sichtbare Neuerung der neue Abschnitt [url=http://beta.kdyne.net/rygreg/STABLE/fameapp/?sekce=region]Planet[/url], über den alle bekannten Regionen und Örtlichkeiten von Atys eingesehen werden können. Teil der Änderungen ist auch ein System zur Erstellung dynamischer Karten. Leider braucht es seine Zeit die Koordinaten zu allen Örtlichkeiten ein zu pflegen (ganz zu schweigen von dem Einpflegen aller Örtlichkeiten auf Atys überhaupt), so dass momentan nur die wichtigsten Örtlichkeiten existieren, und davon wiederum nur ein Teil gültige Koordinaten besitzt.

Die Tabelle der Ruhm_Übersicht wurde neu geschrieben, um besser auf die Gilden-Aktivität einzugehen, und erlaubt nun auch die Sortierung nach allen Spalten. Tabellen mit Örtlichkeiten oder NPCs sind nun auch spaltenweise sortierbar.

La nouvelle version de Fame Tracker a été publiée. C'est un outils qui affiche votre renommée courante (et plus de précisions) avec les tribus, les civilisations et les puissances.

En plus des changements et developpements en arrière plan et plusieurs corrections, le changement le plus visible est la nouvelle section [url=http://beta.kdyne.net/rygreg/STABLE/fameapp/?sekce=region]Planet[/url] dans laquelle vous pouvez naviguer dans les régions et les lieux d'Atys. Une partie de ces changements consiste en un système pour générer dynamiquement des cartes. Malheureusement, ajouter les coordonnées de tous les lieux (ou même ajouter tous les lieux d'Atys) prend du temps dons actuellement la pluspart des lieux les plus utilisés existe et seulement une partie ont des coordonnées valides.

La table de synthèse des renommées a été réécrite pour mieux refleter l'activité des guildes et permettre le tri avec plus de colonnes. Les tables des lieux ou des homins PNJ sont aussi triables par colonnes Maintenant.

I have released a new version of RyGReg, Ryzom Guild Registry tool.

The layout of the Guild profile page has been changes. The Graph of time zones has been improved and a graph of guild languages has been added. The list of activities has been moved to a separate page where you can browse the full history and see a graph of the guild's activity. The profile export in forum code has been improved and can be affected by various options. For guilds with valid API key inserted you can enable automatic updates of the list of guild members.

J'ai sorti une nouvelle version de RyGReg, l'outil de Registre des Guildes (Ryzom Guild Registry).

[h3]Les profils de Guilde[/h3]
Le modèle des pages de profil des Guildes ont changé. Le graphique des zones horaires a été amélioré, et un graphique des langues de la guilde a été ajouté. La liste des activités est Maintenant sur une page séparée, et on peux y consulter l'historique complet, plus un graphique d'activité de la guilde. Le code qui exporte le profil de la guilde vers le forum a aussi été amélioré, et dispose de plusieurs options. Les guildes qui ont configuré une clef API peuvent automatiquement y afficher la liste de ses membres.

You can see a table with maximal and minimal fames for every entity you can gain or loose fame with. While the maximal limits are known, the minimal values are still not entirely clear and you should consider those values as suggestions. The maximal fame can also be highlighted on the fame bar/graph.

La nouvelle version de Fame tracker est sortie.

On peux voir un tableau avec les renommées mini et maxi pour chaque entité avec laquelle on peux gagner/perdre en renommée. On connaît souvent les maxi, les seuil minimaux sont moins bien connus et les valeurs affichées sont plus indicatives que réelles. On peux aussi facilement voir les seuils maxi sur le graphique en barres.

Dieses kleine Spiel basiert auf den übersetzen Strings im Wörterbuch. Urpsrung dieser Strings ist die Blablatys Datenbank. Man erratet korrekte Übersetzungen für gegebene Ausdrücke zwischen seiner bevorzugten Sprache und der ausgewählten Atys Sprache. Bitte beachtet, dass die Datenbank an Ausdrücken klein ist und es vielleicht nicht möglich ist ein Set an Fragen zu bilden. Die Wörterbuch Abteilung der Lang App zeigt die rohen Nummern.

Translators workspace has been made a bit more useful again. You can use link to quick reset of your filter options. More details is displayed when browsing a module and preview of each string can be limited to specified number of characters which can help on smaller displays.
Links to tables with Place names / Tribe names / NPC Titles were moved from main menu into sub-menu of Dictionary section. It is faster to use Blablator to find these translations than browse tables.

Blablator is dummy brute force translator that try to search translation in all known strings and translate given block of text into target language. While the database of atys words is small, searching and replacing is not too effective and might take some time. Therefore length of text to translate is limited by 70 words.

Si bien la base de datos de las palabras de Atys es pequeña, la búsqueda y la sustitución no es demasiado eficaz y puede tomar cierto tiempo. Por eso la longitud del texto que traducir se limita a 70 palabras.

Este pequeño juego se basa en las cadenas traducidas en el diccionario. El origen de estas cadenas es la base de datos Blablatys. Tienes que adivinar traducciones correctas para un término dado entre su idioma preferido y el idioma de Atys seleccionado. Ten en cuenta que la base de datos de las cadenas es pequeña y puede ser que no sea posible crear un conjunto de preguntas. La sección de diccionarios de Lang App le mostrará el número en bruto.
