Univentory allows you to share your inventories (excluding alt guild halls and other Univentory shares) with other Homins by a specified rules. This feature gives others access to your inventory cache and you are able to share one or more storage types. It means that an allowed Homin will be able to see what you see but also that cache locales and updates are fully depended on your settings and activity. Viewer is not allowed to get cache updates nor change its translations.
To share part or all of your inventories you have to create new share first. Navigate to My shares section and click Add in top-right menu. This will open a form where you can specify your share details.
Permissions
The Permissions part of the form allows you to set your share name and description and specify who is allowed to see the item.
- Specified homin - This option will share the item with a homin specified in the text field in the selection. Please enter a valid homin name as it is written because the check is case sensitive.
- Specified guild by name / ID - This option will share the item with a guild specified in the text field in the selection. Please enter a valid guild name as it is written or valid guild ID. System will try to find matching guild record.
- Your guild members - This option will share the item with all your guild members. You can ignore the text field while no additional details are needed. This option is available only in case you are a member of a guild.
- Your master guild members - This option will share the item with all your master guild members, that mean all members of the guild that is set to be mastering your guild. You can ignore the text field while no additional details are needed. This option is available only in case you are a member of a guild that has a master guild properly set in RyGReg.
- Everyone - This option will make the item visible for everyone who will use the Univentory.
Publish policy
This section is the place where you can grant or disallow access to all of your storage types. Each storage has own policy option where you have following choices:
- No items - No items from this storage will be visible in this share.
- Unlocked items - Only unlocked items in this storage will be included in the share.
- Locked items - Only locked items in this storage will be included in the share.
- All items - All items placed in this storage will be included in the share.
Once you set all details, click the Create new share button to create new share. Items will be visible for allowed homins right after until you remove the share.
Once you have an existing inventory share you can edit its details. Navigate to My shares section, find the share you wish to adjust and click Edit option.
Next the form to edit share will appear. You can change all share details as with creating new share except permissions to view the share. In case you wish to share items with someone else, remove this share and create new. All other share details are same as for creating new share, please read the section above to learn more about each share option.
Once you are done with changes, click the Save button. changes will apply right after.
If you want to remove a share from the Univentory, you need to open the list of your shares in My shares, find the desired share and click on Delete option. The share will be disabled for viewers right after you finish the process.
